From Warsaw to Poznan
Five cities on the rout with Cracow and Lodz for the first time, 56 exhibitors and nearly 800 visitors. This short statistics presents the 2nd edition of OneDay Roadshow. Its guests got a unique chance to see the extensive range of products prepared for hot pre-Christmas sales period.
This year’s one day advertising „trade fair” was quite unusual. It turned out that most of exhibitors who decided to show their products successively visited all cities on the OneDay Roadshow rout. Thus confirmed their strong position in the market. Also its guests took advantage from it as they learned the latest offers in promotional gifts sector and what is even more important they established personal relationships with producers and importers. They achieved it “without moving from home”. It has resulted in tangible benefits for both sides.
Inauguration at the National Stadium
On 1 September at 9 a.m. in “Paris” hall in the National Stadium in Warsaw this year’s advertising tour began. It was just the Warsaw premiere that proved all the meetings organized by GJC Inter Media had generated great interest. The exhibition got more prestige by the fact that it was held in the same place which hosted best national teams during opening game of Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2 days earlier. Atmosphere was elevated and conditions for discussions very favorable.
Welcome to Cracow
On the 2nd day OneDay Roadshow moved to Cracow. It has been for the first time when Polish historical capital city hosted participants of advertising trade exhibition meetings and straightaway attracted many professionals. The event offered an opportunity to see a latest service provided by GJC Inter Media – Ofero – which facilitates advertising agencies to create offers for their customers.
Half way point of the “trade fair” took place in Chorzow, later the show moved to Lodz and then the final stage was held in Poznan. In Lodz, the same as in Cracow, OneDay Roadshow has been organized for the first time.
Camera as a prize
The „tour” was not only the time dedicated to business talks. The Organizer invited all participants of the series of events to a special contest, the objective of which was to crate a slogan which will later became a motto of OneDay Roadshow 2015. In all 5 cities 5 best slogans were awarded with double tickets for any movie in Multikino cinemas (below you will find a list of winners in particular cities).
This way over 50 professionals taking part in the contest watched chosen by them movies. But it was not the end of fun as the main prize was still waiting for a happy winner. Both exhibitors and visitors demonstrated a lot of creativity and the contest appeared to be involving, entertaining and amusing at the same time. Choosing the best slogan promoting next year’s edition of OneDay Roadshow was not an easy task because tastes are not to be disputed. Eventually, Mr Krzysztof Komorowski from AdDimension Group won the first prize and was given Go-Pro HERO3 camera as a reward.
In one year
This years’ series of meeting confirmed important role played by the exhibition events scheduled in our country. After-holiday period allows attention of specialists to focus on what brings the forthcoming quarter. One may plan a strategy and find proper tools for its implementation, see the latest offers or establish and start new business relationships. OneDay Roadshow meetings held in five Polish cities appeared to be the best occasion to do so.
